My name is Jordan, I'm a student pursuing a double degree in Informatics and Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington. I have been teaching myself to program since 2019, and have focused my efforts in web development, server-side applications, and data science applications.

- Communicate and work closely with my advisor (Gemma O'Connor) on the required features for the app, ensuring all measures are followed to maintain data clarity and integrity.
- Use Svelte, Highcharts, and TailwindCSS to develop a responsive, fast, user friendly interface that facilitates meaningful interactions with the data.
- Develop a REST API using Python and Fast API to support efficient querying of large data sets while maintaining low bandwidth usage when transporting data.
- Configured, deployed, and optimized AWS Lambda functions for serverless architecture, ensuring seamless scalability and cost-efficiency in a cloud-based environment for the backend API.
- Implemented automatic deployments of the front end to Cloudflare pages to ensure high availability.

Coordination Council For Refugees, Remote
- Designed and implemented a secure IT infrastructure plan for a volunteer-led nonprofit, including document management, email systems, and cloud storage using a Microsoft software grant.
- Evaluated and implemented communication and collaboration tools including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, improving access and coordination for staff, board members, and volunteers.
- Led website recovery and redevelopment planning, proposing a user-friendly platform with a focus on donation accessibility and long-term maintainability.
